Who Is God Like?

WHO IS GOD LIKE?

Daddy, Papa, Heavenly Father. First and foremost God is your ever-loving father. (Romans 8:15) He is a Father like no other, He loves you more than you can know and He cares for you as if you were His only child. Compassionate. Good. Our God is so good. Kind. Humorous. Fun-to-be-with. (Psalm 103:8) The source for all blessings. (Ephesians 1:3) The source for anything you will ever need. Always attentive to your needs. (Matthew 6:8)  His love for you has no boundaries. (Psalm 136) There is no beginning or end to it. It always was, is and is to come.

Like a Father, He disciplines and guides you. Like the sweetest kindest Father who watches his baby taking their first steps, God watches over you. (Luke 11:13) He lets go of your hand for just a second and if and when you fall, He does not chide you, (Hebrews 12:7) He carefully lifts you up, dusts you off and encourages you to try again .He is the ultimate encourager. (2 Thessalonians 2:17) He created you in His image and adores you. (Genesis 1:27) He does not see your mistakes (Ephesians 2:24), He looks at you as His beloved. He spoke you into existence. He knows everything about you. He even knows every hair on your head. (Luke 12:7)

Yet He is Holy. That is an extreme concept to take in because we as humans are not holy.  God is pure, without blame. Absolute perfection. (Matthew 5:48) Pure light no darkness yet He longs for you to be like Him. (1 John 1:5) He does not judge you but He wants that more for you than anything. You are His child. He even gave His Son to die on the cross to enable you to become holy. To be free from sin. (John 3:16)

He knows your rising up and your sitting down. He knows your comings and goings. (Psalm 139)  You do not make a move without Him knowing where you are going or what you are doing. He is the most doting Father you can imagine but never tells you what to do. He gently and tenderly guides you in the right direction.  Even when you are rebellious and turn away from Him, He stands there with arms wide-open waiting for your return. “Return to me and I will return to you," He says lovingly. (Zechariah 1:3)

There is pain in this life. The world we live in is dark and broken. He is light and love. (Psalm 27) He calls each of us out of the darkness and into His wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9) He spoke into the darkness and void of this world and created the light. (Genesis 1) He teaches you how to live in this world in His presence. His presence will sustain you, comfort you and His glory is in you and all around you. (Habakkuk 2:14)

Your perception OF God is only limited to your experience WITH God.  The more time you spend with Him, the bigger He gets.  The more you understand about Him. You experience His kindness, His mercy, His love and you wonder how you ever lived without it? The more you realize that ALL THINGS are possible with GOD.  (Matthew 19:26) You see the magnitude of the things He does in your life and the life of others that know Him. Nothing is too hard for God. (Jeremiah 32:27)

When you pass through the waters, He will ALWAYS be with you. (Isaiah 43:2) When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; and the flames will not set you ablaze. He is the Lord God Almighty, His Word is His covenant, it is better than gold. (Psalm 105:8)

Resurrection Greetings To You And Your Family

Dear Ministry Partner,

What a glorious season to celebrate the triumphant victory of the Resurrection of our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.  He is not here; for He is risen, as He said ..." Matthew 28:5-6

We serve a Living God! Jesus rose from the dead to perform the ministry of the Great High Priest. He ascended to Father in heaven where He presented His own blood by sprinkling it over the mercy seat seven times.

And when His spotless blood was accepted as a perfect sacrifice for the remission of sins for ALL mankind forever, Jesus returned to the disciples with the good news and commissioned them saying,  “… All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20

Thank you for helping Mona and I proclaim this gospel to the nations! I am so grateful especially to our faithful partners who are “God’s voice” with us as we take His message to all peoples around the world through mass media and television.

As I write this letter, we are touching lives in 125 countries with the gospel of Christ and our Live TV, 24/7 channel will GO LIVE in April thereby multiplying our global reach! Thank you for your powerful prayers for our ministry.

On behalf of our ministry team, I wish you and your loved ones a blessed and wonderful resurrection! May God richly bless you this Holy and appointed season now and forever.

With love and prayers

Andrew Nkoyoyo

Together with Mona and the entire KIM Team
