BIBLE STUDY: INTRODUCTION TO WORKING THE WORKS OF GOD BY DR. ANDREW NKOYOYO

This Bible study has been taken from Andrew Nkoyoyo's book "WORKING THE WORKS OF GOD -THE KEYS TO SUPERNATURAL MINISTRY ARE IN YOUR HANDS (3RD EDITION).".

INTRODUCTION:

IN 1986, I HAD A GLORIOUS VISITATION from the Lord Jesus Christ, which led to my conversion. In that supernatural experience, He told me to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. He also told me to raise up unto God an army in this end time. Since that sacred experience, I have had the honor of playing a major part in transforming my home country of Uganda through all-night prayer meetings, intercession and repentance as part of a countrywide prayer campaign. I have also had the honor of pioneering over 90 churches and ministries worldwide to date and ministering in numerous major crusades, conferences and schools of the ministry.

Because of the calling that I have been blessed to fulfill, I have been sacrificially dedicated to reaching the world with the love and compassion that reaches through stony hearts...

BIBLE STUDY: MAKE DISCIPLES WHO RISE UP IN POWER PART TWO OF TWO

This Bible Study is taken from Chapter Nine: Make Disciples Who Rise Up In Power of "Working The Works of God" By Dr. Andrew M. Nkoyoyo

When I first started in ministry, I only engaged myself in evangelism, and I desired to see hundreds of thousands of people come to the Lord. One day the Holy Spirit asked me, “What did Jesus say in Matthew 28:19-20?” I replied, quoting what He said in that portion of Scripture. He then asked why I was only doing half the job. He not only wanted me to win them to Christ; He also wanted me to equip them for service. He wanted me to make disciples.

It has been over 21 years now. We conduct crusades designed to reach the lost, and believers’ conventions, ministry seminars and schools of ministry to equip the saints for the work of service.

Now, as part of our system of operation, whenever we have a Gospel crusade, we follow it up with either a convention or seminar in that location. In the first-century church, God used...

BIBLE STUDY: MAKE DISCIPLES WHO RISE UP IN POWER PART ONE OF TWO

This Bible Study is taken from Chapter Nine: Make Disciples Who Rise Up In Power of "Working The Works of God" By Dr. Andrew M. Nkoyoyo

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,...  (Matthew 28:19, NIV)

ONE OF THE MAJOR REASONS we have not been successful in reaching the world is the fact that we have been making converts instead of making disciples. We have been making sons and daughters instead of soldiers.

According to Webster’s Dictionary, a convert is “someone brought over from one belief, viewpoint or party to another.” Converts are those people who have had a change of mind about their religious perceptions and then join a church, sit and warm the pews, and become lethargic. They come Sunday mornings for an hour, dance, sing praises to God, hear a short message, and they are content to wait for the next Sunday, only to do the same thing all over again.

CALLED TO DEMONSTRATE GOD’S POWER - PART THREE OF THREE.

This Bible Study is taken from Chapter Two: Called To Demonstrate God’s Power of "Working The Works of God" By Andrew M. Nkoyoyo.

Jesus Came To Destroy The Evil One - The Devil.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)

Jesus came to destroy the works of the evil one – the devil. After His resurrection, He appeared to His disciples and declared to them, “All power and authority is given unto Me.” He commanded them to go and spread the Good News and continue His ministry in the earth.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Amazingly, Jesus did not categorize His disciples and all the...

CALLED TO DEMONSTRATE GOD’S POWER - PART TWO OF THREE.

This Bible Study is taken from Chapter Two of "Working The Works of God" By Andrew M. Nkoyoyo.

The Master Key of Obedience

If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.  (Isaiah 1:19)

Jesus did not only walk in humility, but also in absolute obedience to the Father. The Greek and Hebrew words view obedience as a response. One hears and grasps what is communicated and acts on it. Obedience is linked to God’s revelation. God initiates by speaking, and His creation responds by obeying.

God speaks in many ways, depending on what He knows you will understand. He speaks through His written Word (logos in Greek). He also speaks by the Holy Spirit directly to our spirits (rhema. Furthermore, He speaks through prophecy, dreams and visions, and in many other ways.

As you seek God to discover your calling through prayer, He is definitely going to speak to you using one or more of His languages. As God speaks and reveals His plan for...

BIBLE STUDY - CALLED TO DEMONSTRATE GOD’S POWER - PART ONE OF THREE

This Bible Study is taken from Chapter Two of "Working The Works of God" By Andrew M. Nkoyoyo

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.  (2 Corinthians 5:18)

THE BIBLE TELLS US THAT all believers are ministers. The Greek definition of the word “minister” as used in the New Testament simply means to serve or to be a servant. Without an understanding of such servitude, we will not be able to fulfill the Great Commission, which is to reach the world with the Good News. Without the heart of a servant, we will fail to manifest the works of God.

Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave – just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.  (Matthew 20:26-28)
